Grades are getting low, the teens are getting high. That 12 year old is pregnant and her parents wonder why. A 1st grader is swearing, a 3rd grader has been raped. Just take a look around you, isn't the system great? Who isn't faded these days, teens are sending nudes, kids are getting beaten, the teachers see the bruises. No calls for help are spoken, teens are smoking weed, young girls are cutting, this isn't what we need. The marks of taunt and yelling, parents are divorced. That 14 year old is drinking beer, this can't get any worse. A little girl has killed herself, nobody seems to care. Another kid has been expelled for a stupid dare. But it needs to change. Our world is officially broken. It's time to take a stand, your thoughts need to be spoken.

Ik heb 'm een tijdje als onderschrit gehad, maar kwam een leukere tegen^^ maar vond het toch wel een mooie uitspraak om hier neer te zetten.

Helden brengen nooit alleen geluk.

Uit Joe Speedboot. Ik kan hem op een paar manieren lezen, altijd leuk :p als hoe ik mijn personages wil schrijven: imperecte mensen. Niemand is perect, zels helden hebben hun mankementen. Ook zie ik het als helden uit verhalen: elke keer als er een held opduikt, is wel iemand die hem tegenwerkt. Natuurlijk, zonder spanning geen verhaal. Maar je zou ook kunnen redeneren dat als er geen held zou zijn, zouden er ook geen tegenwerkende mensen zijn. Dus, hoe goed een held ook is, hij brengt altijd tegenslag.
En ik zie hem ook in het praktische licht van helden :') vooral superhelden, die maken altijd dingen kapot in hun gevecht. Als jij degene bent van die gecrashte auto, zou je ook niet zo blij zijn met die held. Voor jou geen geluk :p
