Sad and silent, crying alone,
staring at the walls they call home.
So empty, lost and left for dead.
And nobody cares about tears they shed.

And you can’t say you feel broken;
‘‘Handle it yourself, it isn’t that hard’’.
As if all compassion has been stolen.

It’s a new generation we all created;
they say they’re fine, without frustration,
but they know the pain never faded.

We’re surrounded by deadly desperation
and nobody cares.
