Long time no see. Verbeter mijn Engels maar als het fout is

All the people were dressed as midnight
Soft whispering, uncertain and sad
But then, after quite a while
While the Moonwhite Lady slept so tight
A man spoke up and said:
‘She was as beautiful as the sunrise,
as breath taking as a lullaby,
sung by the most precious voice’
There again, there came the whispering
While all nodded, nearly cried
Others started whimpering
As the Moonwhite Lady slept all night
