You say I am guilty of a crime
But I did no wrong
You say I will do my time
In jail is where I belong

You will answer for your deeds
You will answer them to God
I will strip you of your needs
And the people will applaud

I will face your heavenly court
For I am guilty of my deeds
God will look down and give me His support
For I planted His seeds

You will never be free
I will never end my chase
You can not win with any kind of plea
For you there will never be grace

I went to your court
I followed your rules
I talked to our God
He said we were fools

You said you spoke to the Lord
But our laws are divine, they are right
I will catch you in the dark and take my reward
I will bring you to the light

You are blind, you are a fool
you think you can win but you already lost
His love is with the poor not the cruel
Without His love let us see how long you last
