I am Faith

My name is Faith Shial Veltrix and I was born in the human world in 1986 in a small cottage. This cottage stood in a forest in West-Europe, near a river, far away from the rest of the world. I was born a half vampire, half human, but during the time I lived there, I was unaware of my vampire side. I looked and smelled like a human, my vampire side being suppressed and asleep all that time. I must say that I actually enjoyed my time there. I really like forests, with their beautiful flora and fauna and their peaceful and calming aura.

My mother Elena raised me, together with the owner of the cottage, an old, friendly lady. They taught me everything, making sure I would grow up a good girl. They taught me to respect and love. My mother wasn't just an ordinary human like I thought she was, but I'll tell you more about that later.

You probably wonder where my father was, well... there is a whole story behind that. My mother never told me anything about my father until she was dying and confessed the whole story to me. You see, she never completely recovered from giving birth to me. Her body was more weak and fragile ever since, but she was tough, and had a strong spirit. When I was about 18 years old, she called me to her, knowing she was dying, even though she was still quite young. That was the moment I learned the truth about my father, and what I really was. She told me my father was Lord Ichigo Veltrix, and that he is an Elder Vampire. I didn’t believe her at first, but after she finished her story, all my doubt was gone.

My mother had always lived in the human world, just like me, and one day Lord Ichigo Veltrix, my father, came to the human world and saw her. They fell in love and married. They stayed in the human world because my mother was human, and couldn’t live in the Dark Dimension. My father never changed her. They were happy, and everything went well, until one day war broke out. They both went to battle, and my mother got hurt. She fell in the river, which took her away. My father tried to save her, but while trying to get to her, he got hurt himself, and my mother saw him going down, thinking he died. They both thought the other had died, not knowing they both survived. That’s the reason they never looked for each other.
The river took my mother far away, until it discharged into a calm, small brook. That’s where the old lady found her and saved her, taking her into her home, the small cottage I grew up in. It wasn’t long after that, that my mother found out she was pregnant. Since she had only been with Lord Ichigo Veltrix, there was no doubt about it this was his child. Several months later, she gave birth to me, naming me Faith, since she believed it was fate who saved both her and me. She was partly right, but I’ll come back to that.

Not long after she finished her story, she died. Now I was alone in the cottage, since the old lady died some years before her, giving the cottage to us. So I left the cottage, wanting to know more about my father. During my quest, I learned that he was still alive, and I decided to go look for him. So I entered the Dark Dimension. I couldn’t have been less prepared, I knew nothing about all the creatures living there: vampires, demons, drows… I was lucky to meet friendly people there, willing to help me and protect me. Dutch was the first one I met who was friendly, offering me food and shelter. He’ll come back later in my story. One day I entered a tavern and met a vampire called Leonard Grays, or Leo. It really clicked between us two and we had a good time. I felt sorry for leaving, continuing the search for my father. After searching for months, I finally found my father and entered his castle. I told him my story, and he was truly happy to know about me.

Not long after I was reunited with my father, Leo found me there, and we became lovers. We are together ever since. It didn’t take long before he proposed to me, and not much later I got pregnant. But before all that happened, my vampire side had been taken away. But not without reason. Since I entered the Dark Dimension, my vampire side had slowly started to wake up, until one day it actually did come out. But I couldn’t control it, and killed an innocent human in my rage. After that, I felt awful, and wanted to die. Bane, who happened to be there at the time, took away my vampire side instead, turning me into a full human. So when I got pregnant, I was fully human.

All went well, until one day. While I was visiting Dutch, who I came to consider a dear friend, Vel came in. Vel had become my friend as well, but as she entered, she came straight at me, tackling me. I fell on my belly, which by that time, already started to show signs of pregnancy. Since I was human, and she a demon, I came down real hard, causing me to start bleeding. Afraid to lose the baby, Dutch brought me back to my own Kingdom, which I had just started. At that moment, Dark, who I had hired as my guard, came inside as well. They couldn’t help me, and Dutch desperately called upon Angel. Dutch and Angel were married once, and their bond was extremely strong and special since their souls were connected to each other, having smelted into one soul. But they died after their evil daughter Ayliena tricked Dutch into killing Angel, after which he took his own life. Dutch reincarnated, but Angel didn’t. The reason Dutch tried to summon Angel, was because he sensed something of Angel in my soul, which was strange, since I didn't thought I would have anything in common with her. Angel appeared, which shocked me, because until that point, I always thought she wasn’t real. You see, when I was little, my mother always used to tell me stories about Angel, a powerful vampire princess, blessed with the Dragon Flame, but I never thought they were more than just stories. But all I heard about her was true, and she revealed a secret.

Before she got together with Dutch, she had been together with Dark, the same Dark I had hired as my guard. But Dark disappeared, and right after that, she found out she was pregnant with his child. She decided not to tell anyone and have his child. She gave birth to a daughter and named her Elena. Yes, that’s right, that Elena was my mother. After Elena was born, Angel decided to take away her vampire side, turning my mother into a full human, so that she could have a human life. She brought Elena to the human world, where she was adopted. She did it because she knew how much Dark valued human life, and that it would mean a lot to him if his daughter would have a chance to live a normal life. You can imagine how shocked Dark and I were when we heard it. We both had no idea. She told us that all of her female descendants are born with the Dragon Flame, and that even when their vampire side is taken away, the Dragon Flame could never be taken away. And since I was her granddaughter, I posses that Dragon Flame as well. It had just been asleep for all those years. In order to save both me and the baby, my Dragon Flame had to be awakened. But that wasn’t easy at all, and Angel had to use all of her last powers to awaken it, giving her life to save me and the baby.

Once my Dragon Flame had been awoken, it immediately started to work, healing me and the baby, protecting us. The Dragon Flame also started to change me, turning me into a full vampire. So now I am a vampire, a daughter of the Ancient Dragons, just like Angel was, and just like my daughter(s) will be. All went well and I gave birth to a beautiful daughter, Aurora.

Before Aurora was born, Leo and I got married. This all happened rather suddenly, since we needed to get married fast. The reason for this is that Leo unexpectedly was turned into a light angel, and we knew it would never be allowed that we got married. Once we were married, they couldn't break the bond anymore, since marriage is sacred. So now we are married, and there is nothing that could get us to part.

Dit is dus geen echt verhaal, maar de bio van één van mijn role play karakters. Ik ben namelijk een fervente roleplayster, en dit verhaal steekt er dus achter mijn karakter.
